Due to unforeseen changes in my lifestyle, my life has taken on many different challenges. And I welcome this one. Scrapbook Village is my second home, like so many of you feel. I’d like to prove that just because I’m handicapped, doesn’t mean that I’m not handi-capable. I have the gumption to persue my goals regardless of my physical condition. Everybody needs a group of supportive friends. Just keep thinking like the ‘little engine that could’.—‘I think I can. I think I can. I think I can. And you can do anything.  I enjoy working in an altered state because I myself feel I've been altered. 

I am a full time mommy to a energetic 10 yr old daughter and two other fledglings that are 22 and 23. I am also grandma to two, one boy, one girl. When I’m not at the Village you might find me on the farm w/the sheep, cows, cats, and dogs. Likely you’ll find me reading, drawing, playing games on the laptop, or my favorite-scrap booking. It’s up to me to leave the roadmaps into my soul. But through my scrapping the Maier legacy will tarry long after my short visit. 

I hope you too, enjoy this project, maybe even choosing to add to it.  Make your bird soar with uniqueness of your own.  Use it like me, to  document a special garden project, or a favorite springtime recipe that might be good for an outdoor picnic.  This little birdie is not meant to stifle your mind, but to make it soar!
